Controls position got locked
Hi, I have an existing continuous subform with some controls.
Now i added extra 2 control buttons in the form. I arranged controls like i need and modified in layout view as well(i want my new controls to be in last but 1 position, they are like the way i want in layout and design view)
but when i switch to form view, 2 new controls which i added now got locked in same position where they are in layout view(new controls are now in middle of row like overlapping on some other existing controls)
how do i auto sync them with existing controls so that they appear same way as my layout view
what option do i need to select? as these are new controls do i need to do some settings
please help me as i am pretty new to access
regards,
Lisa

A screenshot of your form in design view, as well as form view would probably help explain what is going on. Based on your description I *think* the 2 added controls are in a different layout grid (Not the same as layout view) than the first controls.
If you select the new controls in design view, and under the Arrange tab in the ribbon, click Remove Layout, you should then be able to drag-n-drop the controls into their position in the existing layout grid.

i already tried to remove layout for the new controls but when i selected them under arrange tab remove layout is grayed
and as this form was done by someone else i am not sure which layout they have used
is there any way i can do this

You can upload the screenshots here, by first saving them as local files, then uploading them via the "Insert Image" button of the post.

Is there any difference with your forms in Normal view vs Layout view? I don't use Layout view so I don't know if it screws things up or not.
