USB VGA cable cannot work any more

Hi I bought USB - VGA cable, please see the below link , Initially, the cable could work well with 1920 x 1080, but after several days, the monitor cannot get the resolution. and when the cable is plugged into PC, i got error message, which looks like the device is not running in USB 3. I guess this is related with the cable driver, but i can not find the driver, and it maybe not driver issue because it could work initially without installing driver. Anyone has some suggestion? Thank you

Don't want to assume, so I'll ask the basics first (others feel free to jump in):
* It shows "NOT Support Mac/Linux/Chrome" ... assuming it is none of these, correct (looks like a Windows message but want to make sure)?
* What is the serial / model number of the computer it is running on (i.e. does you computer have USB 3.x ports)?
Also, noticed one other thing; Amazon shows it will work in 800x600 on USB 2.0 ... does 800x600 work?
Assuming these are taken into account as well (from Amazon):

Have you tried it on other computers?
what pc is this - and what port do you use? usb 2 or 3 ?
you can posta screenshot of device manager, showing the usb ports

As the screenshot shows the USB3 port KNOWS about the capabilities of the USB dongle, and that it's not operating in the correct speed, you can conclude the USB dongle is defective. You can easily do a read test from a fast USB3 memory stick (assuming you can reach those high speeds on that stick and you've tested it before, knowing it reaches xxx MB/s read speeds for big file, above 30MB/s is definitely USB3 speeds).
Therefore I suspect testing it on another PC will have the same results.
Still it could indeed be a driver screw up (Windows can do that to you sometimes), so please check the device manager for yellow/red marks and give us the details (HW ID of the USB dongle would be nice)

Thanks for your reply. after changing to another PC with the cable, it has the same issue. the issue is the monitor cannot show it with 1920 x 1080. and device manager show no abnormal question mark. i think i need to change the cable/adapter. it looks like usb 3.0 is not compatible. so maybe i can use usb2, for example the below cable. Do you think it would be good?

the cable and monitor together used to work well with 1920 x 1080. i think the cable has something wrong

Please see attached picture. The resolution for second monitor cannot be changed

what shows device manager - as i asked - plse post that screenshot
instead of going cheap again, you might wanna change strategies and buy high quality/good warranty/support products:

It's probably not your USB ports, it's the cheap cable (which I already predicted).

i tried many ways, even bought the below one. it cannot support 1920x1080. however only one way can work, which is using cable with two end male VGA port. it can only be used at desktop pc instead of laptop. i think all VGA-USB cables have quality issue, or unstable.

the only option i see is updating all drivers and bios;  what pc model is this?

i don't believe in what you said  " i think all VGA-USB cables have quality issue, or unstable. "  the net would be flooded with bad comments

I mean all VGA-USB cable that i bought are having problem. actually you are right. i just bought new adapter: j5create USB3.0---HDMI. it only can work at hp desktop pc, but it cannot work at lenovo laptop. i think there is some software in the lenovo laptop, which is conflicted with j5create. Do not know how to find the app and remove it. Thank you
what pc model is this?
