Hi All,

A user that uses Bloomberg has asked me if she could run or open a file with the extension named REQ. And surely, I could not answer it. I guess she was asking about how to open it.

See screenshot attached and please let me know what is your opinion.

Try opening one of the files in Notepad just to see what it looks like.  In a little searching on the internet I see references to a "data request file" and Bloomberg, but I have no personal experience with Bloomberg.  It may just be a plain text file that is used in pulling other data from a paid Bloomberg service.

If you post the content of the file, or the actual file itself to this question it could help experts determine the actual type of the file as well.
