Telsa Alerts on Mac disappear quickly

I own a Tesla and periodically I get news alerts from them (or some associated app) on my iMac. I call them "Alerts" but they don't behave like alerts because they don't "stay on screen until dismissed", and in fact they often disappear before I can fully read them. Note that my System Preferences|Notifications for Safari is set to "Alerts".

If anyone else has a Tesla and an OS X device please let me know if you also get the "Alerts".

Hi Martin,

Unfortunately don't own a Tesla myself, but I wanted to ask, so your Tesla is sending alerts to your Mac right? And they are disappearing too quickly? Is it news alerts about Tesla stuff? Or is it an alert from your car itself?

I'm sure it's not the Tesla vehicle itself that's sending the alerts (which are just company news) to my Mac but rather either the Tesla company or the Tesla Motor Club (TMC) where I'm a member, or some other app. I asked a TMC moderator but he had no idea it TMC was the source.
Hi Martin,

Sorry for the delayed response, I haven't forgotten about your question!

I'm going to look into it more this weekend, but would you be able to take a screenshot the next time the notification pops up with Shift+Command+3? It might give some details on where the notification is coming from and how to manage it better.

You mentioned your Safari alerts are set to stay on screen until they are dismissed, is Safari your main browser?

I typically use Chrome and I will get alerts from websites I frequent through a Chrome notification. So I was wondering if this is similar to why you're getting Tesla company news alerts.
...would you be able to take a screenshot the next time the notification pops up with Shift+Command+3?
I'll try.
is Safari your main browser?
Yes.
I looked on my Mac and the only thing I can think of is going to your notifications and changing them from Banner style to Alert.

All notifications that I get as an Alert in the upper right corner of my desktop stay until I click snooze or close.
Thanks, but it is already set that way.

Also the "alerts" don't appear very often and I have to be in front of my iMac to see them and quick enough to press Cmd+Shift+3 to grab an image, so it has been all this time before I could get one and here it is.
User generated imageI never had time previously to notice that it says where it's from!
Thanks for the screengrab, I'll delve deeper into this when I'm on my Mac at home.

Interesting that the usual options to Snooze or Close don't show up on the right hand side on the alert
