Hi Experts,

I've got a Microsoft Word document that has all the images linked to external files (one per image).

How can I create a new version of the document that has all the images embedded?

I have done this a long time ago, but cannot remember how to do it.

Regards,
Leigh

hi Leigh,

click File > Info > Edit Links to Files
Word: File > Info > Edit Links to Files
Select all the files (I only have one in my test document) and click Break Link (there is also a Save picture in document checkbox, that you might need to check before clicking Break Links, but I think that will happen automatically)
Word: pick files to change from linked to embedded
click Yes when the dialog box to confirm appears to break the selected links
Word: Break Links confirmation
