Hi

I created a windows 2019 virtual Machine through VSphere client 6.0 .
I copied the ISO to the one of the DATA store and from the Vsphere client - file  and created a virtual machine .

I noticed the VM was installed and when completed it booted and now it stays in the attached scree.

Please let me know how to resolve this , so that the VM boots into window.

Thanks

Looks like you did a core install, is screen not working or what is happening.

If you want Windows you need the GUI install

You've installed Core at the start, if has no GUI, this is to be expected it's not a VMware vSphere issue.

Re-install the OS using the Desktop Experience (e.g. the GUI).

or, start again and re-install the OS, and delete the original VM.

If i right click the VM and open the console - It is completely blank.
If i go to Menu -Guest -CNtrl+Alt +Del , it gives the same attached screen as posted previously..

I choose task manager  and tries to run explorer.exe and it says cannot find explorer

1. DELETE THE VM
2. Repeat what you did!
3. When the OS BOOTS, select Desktop Experience on the installer! Which is enclosed in brackets if you want a GUI!

You just selected the WRONG option on installation.
