I am preparing myself for interview for System Analyst position.
Ma background is in Application development  and most in  BI Development area.
I need some sources or materials with proper questions and answers to update and upgrade my knowledge. It would be good if it is Microsoft standard test or something similar.

I need some sources or materials with proper questions and answers to update and upgrade my knowledge.

some of my advice as follows:

1. knowing the typical questions your interviewers will ask, for this, you can get a lot of information from internet or bookstore nearby. but I would advise so you not only preparing for questions for the SA role, but also the general questions how you handle your daily works.

2. understand your potential clients, which you can conduct a SWOT analysis. during the interview, propose the solutions to them using your knowledge.

3. physically be prepared. practice, practice and practice!

It would be good if it is Microsoft standard test or something similar.
The technology and knowledge is so broad that no one can know everything. so i would suggest you to look into the JD, and see what's their requirements, and then focusing on resolving those issues.

Hi there! :)

I haven't been interviewed for an Systems Analyst position before but there are many blogs I have read from people who have been interviewed or are the ones interviewing; providing some outline of what would asked in terms of job scope. You may refer to the link below for an example of one such blog created with information you might find useful..

Reference: https://resources.workable.com/system-analyst-interview-questions
This prior EE post may shed light on some; https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/24753483/Questions-for-an-entry-level-systems-analyst.html

Also, if interviewing is somewhat new, keep in mind the questions you can *NOT* be asked in an interview as well (assuming this is within the US):

2. https://ocs.yale.edu/get-prepared/illegal-interview-questions

Another thing to do is to go to the company's job posting site and look at a representative of subset *all* other job posting categories and take notes on the requisites for each category *which apply to the systems analyst position* ... for example, they may have a job opening for "Inventory Manager" which has a prerequisite for "Oracle" and "Google Docs". Now ask yourself, "How do these two requirements relate to being a systems analyst at this company?" Fore-warned is fore-armed; do your homework for each interview ...

In short, they needed experienced network administrator to administer they system.....
It is up to company what they squeeze in particular job title and how some of them using general descriptions and avoid  details.
Thank you to all for your help.
