What Microsoft Windows app can I run that will count the number of files on my computer's C:\ Drive?

What is the total number of files (including documents, pictures, program files, system files and hidden files, etc.) are on my Windows 7 computer's (C:\ Drive)?

I am just looking a number, not a breakdown of each category.

The answer was in the second to the last line in the file filecount.txt:

Total Files Listed:
           369103 File(s) 472,147,223,617 bytes
           181473 Dir(s)  419,796,213,760 bytes free

You got a few files there ;P
That is not a completely correct answer. You need the /a switch, too - not just /s. Otherwise you will not see hidden files and folders, which you said you wanted.

A faster solution will read the NTFS table directly. Take a look at the tool "Everything" by void tools. It should have the full count of files in just a handful of seconds.
