Hi Murty

Windows 10 has been supported since the release of 7.15:

https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/xenapp-and-xendesktop/7-15-ltsr/system-requirements.html

Virtual Delivery Agent (VDA) for Desktop OS

Supported operating systems:

Windows 10, (see edition support in the Introduction section. The following features are not supported on Windows 10: desktop composition redirection and legacy graphics mode.

Thank you Tony.
But I have seen some comments from Citrix in below link under Target device.

https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/provisioning/current-release/system-requirements.html

The operating systems identified in the following list are supported for target devices:

Operating System: Windows Server 2019 Standard and data center editions, Windows Server 2016 Standard, and data center editions, Windows 10 (32-bit or 64-bit); all editions. Note the following:

Support for the publicly available version at the time of the release. Windows 8.1 (32-bit or 64-bit); all editions. Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit or 64-bit); Enterprise, Professional, Ultimate.
The Ultimate edition of Windows 7 is supported only in private image mode. Windows Server 2016 Windows Server 2012 R2; Standard, Essential, and data center editions; Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1; Standard, data center, and Enterprise editions.
Ensure that all Windows updates are current before installing Citrix Provisioning components. Sometimes, you have to install numerous updates. Citrix recommends that you reboot after installing all Windows updates.
Windows 10 v1803 target devices with virtual disk cache type set to Cache in device RAM possibly crash when booting.
Citrix Provisioning supports Windows 10 Fall Creator v1709, however, a target device with this OS cannot boot from a virtual disk in private image mode.
Windows 10 v1809 (x86 and x64) creates a page file error.
NOTE

For Windows 10 1803, this issue does not exist between versions 17134.0–17134.523. However, the issue appears when using Windows 10 1803 version 17134.556. See the Microsoft site for more information.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4480976/windows-10-update-kb4480976
For Windows 10 1809, this issue appears between versions 17763.0–17763.253. The issue is resolved in Windows 10 1809 version 17763.292. See the Microsoft site for more information.

Note

Citrix Provisioning does not support Windows 10 IoT Core and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise. See the Microsoft site for more information.

It's created lot of confusion to me.
Could you please let me know, which version of Windows 10 will be the best for Citrix XenDesktop 7.15 PVS ?
Hi Murty

You wouldn't use core or IoT - IoT is the new name for embedded and is a specific version for, e.g. thin clients, EOPS (tills) systems etc - embedded systems, basically.

What version CU are you on?

I do agree they are adding to the confusion.

We are using 7.15 CU2
Get your licensing straight
Do not use Retail, OEM or the Windows 10 Pro Volume License Upgrade to license the access of a Windows 10 VM or instance (i.e. VDI). The OEM/Retail/Volume License Upgrades do not permit remote use rights from a shared device (AKA server). Remember, only the single primary user of a Windows licensed device may remotely access said device.

Do license your users or their primary work device for the Windows 10 Enterprise E3/E5 OR Windows Virtual Desktop Access (VDA). License virtualization use rights either per-device or per-user license to allow remote access of a Windows 10 in a VM remotely from a server.

You will also need Microsoft VDA per user licensing

Citrix XenDesktop 7.15 CU2 PVS I would like to stream Windows 10 VDI.
What Win10 Version or Build I have to Use?
What precautions I have to take care?
What kind of Optimization tool I have to use?
Any best Practices?
