We want to deploy a simple VDI infrastructure based on Windows Server 2019 RDS.

We have a two node S2D cluster and we would like to know if we can use this cluster as the RDS virtualization host.

S2D in a hyper-converged setup will allow for virtual machines to be set up on the cluster that would run the Remote Desktop Services Roles needed to run VDI. So, I think the answer is, "Yes".

Clarification Note: The S2D nodes themselves would not be used to run any roles beyond the Hyper-V and Storage Spaces configuration that underpins S2D.
