Your attempt to attach a document didn't work. Can please try again so we can see what sort of text box.  (e.g. ActiveX legacy control, shape, etc)?
two ways i know: select the text box by clicking on it, it should open display a "paint can" option. The other is right clicking on it, select Format Shape, Select the "paint can" icon, select Fill, Select Solid Fill, then select your color.

good luck!

  3. navigate to file on your computer
  4. select "Open"
  5. select "Upload File"
when you click on the text box, The Drawing Tools tab appears as last tab on the right
in the Shape Styles group, select the Shape Fill option and select a color
