After migration from SAP BO 3.1 to SAP BO 4.2 Refresh on Open failes

WHat exact version are you using?

Need Support Pack and Patch level.

There is a known defect in 4.2 that creates the problem.

We installed BO 4.2 SP7 with patch 300 which I think is the latest one.
If not do you know of a patch which can resolve it?

The one you installed is well beyond the ones that fixed your issue.

The issue was as I recall in 4.2 SP3.

Did you go directly from 3.1 to 4.2 SP7?

Yes we went directly from 3.1 to 4.2 SP7 . Was is it risky to do it? How will you advice on the migration strategy.
We normally migrate all 3.1 reports to 4.2 environment before doing the conversion from Deski into webI.
Is it better to do the conversion in 3.1environment before migrating the webI reports or send it in 4.2 and do the conversion?

We finally found the solution for the 'Refresh on open' issue. It's enough to use Chrome v76 which is currently the latest version.
We were using Chrome v74. It seems to be a browser problem.
The issue isn't visible with Internet explorer v11

We generally didn't like to migrate from 3.1 to 4.2 but sometimes that is what the path is.

I would migrate the DeskI reports using the conversion tool for DeskI to WebI.
