Properly set DNS

Hello,
We're migrating our website www.tiedemannglobe.com from one server to another. The last provider suspended our account and on entering the site through the browser, I got a page that said "Account suspended".
I changed the DNS in Godaddy, specifically, the Name Server to the DNS I have in WHM for the new server, and the host names to the new IP.
The DNS changes seem to have deployed already, because when I enter the website now, I can see, with the IP check plugin of my browser, that the IP for the site is that of our new server, but I still get the "Account suspended" error instead of the content I uploaded to the server via FTP. What am I missing?

did you just changed dns provider or website hosting provider as well?

If web hosting provider is not changed..check

Probably old hosting provider IP is still might be cached and website is opening with old provider, it will take little time to cache web site at new provider
1) We're migrating our website www.tiedemannglobe.com from one server to another.

If you have a complex migration, best have someone work with you about this.

If you only have a few sites, backup each site (like a WordPress CMS backup) + migrate each site separately.

2) The last provider suspended our account and on entering the site through the browser, I got a page that said "Account suspended".

First question is why the suspension occurred.

If this is because you were hacked, then you'll likely have some access to your files.

If you just stopped paying for your service, likely you'll have no access to your files + you'll have to pay all back hosting costs to restore file access.

3) I changed the DNS in Godaddy, specifically, the Name Server to the DNS I have in WHM for the new server, and the host names to the new IP.

This will have no effect on accessing your past files, which you'll require access to for migrating your sites.

Since you've changed IPs, you'll likely have to access your old account via FTP with an IP address, rather than a host name to make sure.

Note: If all this makes your head spin, just hire someone to help you.

If you're use to this level of tech-ness, then you'll open a support ticket with hosting company where your old files live for assistance accessing your old files.

4) The DNS changes seem to have deployed already, because when I enter the website now, I can see, with the IP check plugin of my browser, that the IP for the site is that of our new server, but I still get the "Account suspended" error instead of the content I uploaded to the server via FTP. What am I missing?

Without knowing your exact starting point, exact details of your migration process, along with access to both old/new site files... tough to guess what's occurring.

Note: If you tried to migrate your entire WHM/CPanel setups, this rarely works. If you did this, then you'll see the account suspended message forever, because WHM/CPanel peg IPs to Apache configs (this is a mess). What it amounts to is if you migrate all your WHM/CPanel files, the generated config files all peg to your old IP, which will be a mismatch for your new IP, thus you'll see the account suspended message (or something similar) forever, till you nuke the entire WHM/CPanel config you brought across.

If you did to a full WHM/CPanel config migration (shudder) then open a support ticket with your new hosting company about how to fix this.
Also post your domain name + old IP + new IP for testing.

As Mahesh suggested, this could also just be a DNS config problem or a long DNS TTL problem.
you have 2 NS1.tiedemannglobe.com and NS2.tideermannglobe.com the blank entries for ip address have a TTL and the ones with an ip address don't have a TTL your ip addresses point to ip addresses owned by Nodisto IT, LLC (AS394727) so at your registrar (Godaddy) you have to fix your DNS  issues. I get a spinning circle when I try and access your website
Your certificate is self signed so it fails certificate checks.

ASKER

Hi David.
1) We have only one WordPress website which I already backed up, uploaded the files to the new server, imported the data base and changed the data base username and password in the corresponding php file
2) We were not hacked, we just stopped paying
3) As I said in 1), I already have a backup of everything.
4) I hope the process described in 1) is enough information. If it's not, please tell me what exactly you need to know.
About the note: I didn't try to migrate my Cpanel account. I started from a fresh one in the new server.
Domain name: tiedemannglobe.com
Old main server's IP: Lost it!
Old DNSs: ns1.m155.sgded.com (99.198.97.226)
                   ns2.m155.sgded.com (99.198.97.227)
New main server's IP: 104.237.9.54
New DNSs: ns1.tiedemannglobe.com
                     ns2.tiedemannglobe.com
By the way, I have full root access to the new server
Never mind, I'm able to access now to the WP admin console, though the public website never loads, but that's another issue. Thank you both!
