Take SnapShots automatically every 15 minutes and delete the older snapshots

How can I setup SnapShots to be taken automatically every 15 minutes  in VCENTER 6.5.
Also, with the ability of deleting it automatically.

If Need be I can install  vRealize Operations Manager too.

I would recommend a PowerCLI script to check the existing snapshots, if any, and create a new snapshot.  The script can be configured to run every 15 minutes.

Thank  you for the tip Darrell.
I noticed we can schedule in vCenter  SNAPSHOTs automatically to be taken  at frequent intervals.
I was wondering how to delete it too at frequent intervals in vCenter 6.5.

Not too sure if this can be done in VROPS.
The complexity with this would be

    • Does the snapshot need to be quiesced or simply removed?
    • Is there ever a possibility the snapshot would have child snapshots associated?
    • Is 15 minutes the appropriate interval?
    • What business need is driving this request?
Thanks again for your response.
Every couple of  hours should be fine. It is for our Email server.

However, the point I am trying to make is can I schedule the SnapShot   to be taken automatically and also schedule to remove the SnapShot  automatically at regular intervals.
I had called VMware Tech Support and they confirmed there is no way to automatically  DELETE  Snapshots from vCENTER 6.5; although Snapshots can be taken automatically.

Thanks all.
