How do you know there is a problem with the PowerPoint Slide Master?
For instance, when someone sends a PowerPoint file to a co-worker, they cannot open it.
I suspect the problem is with the PowerPoint Slide Master, since when I imported the file into another PowerPoint file, without importing the theme, I was able to save the file quicker, and before it took about five minutes.

Many times it is the Trust Center settings. Have the recipient save a copy to their computer and then see if they can open it. I can't imagine it is the slide master, but feel free to send a sample for us to test

Karen, you are right, since when file has about three slide, it works okay, but when more slides are added, the user is unable to save the PowerPoint file.
Thank you. Note, the files are saved locally to the system
