The guide I have for setting up a tablet was written for one running Windows 8.1 & mine is running Win 10, there are some settings I cannot find to make the required changes & they are listed below, if anyone can tell mje the equivalent or if these are longer in use with Windows 10
Thanks!

In the Windows 8 start menu, turn off live tiles and remove all shortcuts

Disable all Win 8 Charms, Flicks, and Corner Navigation

Turn App switching off

Turn off Auto Brightness

Enable “When I sign in or close all apps, go to the Desktop instead”.

Disable Panel Self-Refresh.

Live Tiles. Right Click on Tile, More, Turn Live Tile OFF
No Charms or like in Windows 10.  Goofy stuff gone.
App Switching:  Use the app icons in the task bar. Hover over them to see all. Very Easy
Enable “When I sign in or close all apps, go to the Desktop instead”.  No counterpart in Windows 10

Brightness is part of Power Management and works within Battery / Power Management settings.

Disable Panel Self-Refresh.   <-- No direct counterpart in Windows 10.

All you need in Windows 10 is there to use
