Free gospel favorites.

If it is true that songs after a period of time are no longer copyright protectable, I would like to find such a source for gospel music that could be played for a congregation.

I am not sure whether songs are no longer protectable after a period of time or not, but any place to start is better than none.  Your suggestions and are greatly appreciated.

Morning Ted,

I mean realistically, you can google this and find any free downloads from there, another one would be to stream it from something like youtube depending on the video I guess.

There are some free ones there, but essentially, google, then download anything that 's detailed as free. Can't really more than that.

This may shed more light on the dos and don'ts of Christian music and lyrics usage in church environments:

Follow the various links within the site to get a better understanding of the issues involved.

If a copyright holder feels that their material has been used without due consent it may not cut any ice with them that it was an honest mistake (even though it should - the problems with Christians going to law against each other are comprehensively addressed in 1Cor 6:1-11), so it's much better to avoid the error in the first place.
