Our sharepoint system is sync'd to active directory for job descriptions and some other things. &nbsp; it is sharepoint 2013 btw. &nbsp; I go to the manage user profiles section and run a &quot;Start profile synchronization&quot;.<br />
I go to check the edit user profile on the admin farm and the Title is now correct. &nbsp;It pulled it from Active Directory as expected. &nbsp;<br />
I then rerun the index crawl search and it completes as expected. <br />

when I do a search for this person in the directory, the old Title is still populated in the search results....<br />
I have cleared all my cookies and history in the IE. &nbsp;does anyone know a work around for this problem. &nbsp; &nbsp;It has been occurring for months and my sharepoint guy cant find a fix
