images wont line up vertically in <li> tag

The footer images of twitter and linked in will not line up vertically.

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at insurance.illinois.gov.

Then use a different browser...ie edge

I tried white-space:nowrap and display:inline  neither of those helped.  It should not me showing vertically, but it is.  It should be horizontal.
You know that any browser would give the same result, yeah?
