Skype for Business keeps asking for a password, even when connected to the VPN.
The user is prompted to enter their Windows password, when connected to the VPN.
OS: Windows 10
Any suggestions besides purging the SIP folder under the profile?

could it be that although connected via VPN, that DNS is still using public ?

If the login password has recently been changed due to policy updates it is possible that the entry in the credential manager has not been updated after the password change. Open the control panel then open the credential manager. You will see two type of credentials web and windows credentials.  Click on the windows credentials, look through here to see if there is anything related to Skype for business if so you need to delete the entry. This works well if you are having issues with the Outlook email not authenticating properly, you would look for the outlook entry and delete and once you log off and back in again and access your email or skype app it should only ask for the password once and a new entry in the credential manager will be created. To delete the entry click on the down arrow of the item and select remove.
