"Can't sign in to Skype for Business"

Problem: "Can't sign in to Skype for Business"
Error: You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect email address or password someone else is trying to sign in to this account.

The problem was resolved after I updated the BIOS, but I am look for a possible root cause. I did not look at any log files.

It is possible that the account was attempted to be logged in too many times so they lock the account for "X" number of minutes. After that time expired the user tries to log in again and is able to log in. It is unlikely the bios update resolved the issue except for it caused you to reboot your computer, which some times can resolve log in issues.

your issue is similar to a question someone posted on technet on Microsoft website, seems like, could be a DNS issue.

Thank you, but I just remembered that, OneDrive for Business was not working when this happened.
