Attempting to reinstall macOS Mojave on late 2014 Mac mini from Recovery Mode

Attempting to reinstall macOS Mojave on late 2014 Mac mini from Recovery Mode [https://www.howtogeek.com/186860/how-to-reinstall-os-x-on-your-mac-wipe-your-drive-and-create-usb-installation-media/]does not work beyond Recovery Mode [Command + R]

'Erase' completes as does renaming HD as 'Macintosh HD'.

Then I am stuck. The "Reinstall macOS" function does nothing. There is another volume 'macOS Base System'on the HD.

Thanks - using your suggestions, I restarted the process and all went smoothly. Late 2014 Mac Mini HD has been erased & updated to latest Mojave version. Will be donated to local library.

I upgraded to 2018 Mac Mini (Mojave)  with SS RAM - *Much* faster
