How do you stop a Java file from loading?

I installed a Java file that was needed for our computers to view a feature on our VOIP phone system.   I no longer need the file.   How do I stop it from loading?

The file is only there when I log on.  Because it is in use I cannot delete it.
It states "Starting Application" Downloading Application, Location https://xsp-rec$.telepacific.   It has the Java logo in the top right corner.
The solution is as i've given. It's not even a Java problem really - it's caused by an autorun on your system
Provided Autorun is not needed elsewhere.

Since the file was installed by the OP, its name must be known and so it can be deleted.
Provided Autorun is not needed elsewhere.
Autoruns (which include services) are needed all over the system. But not to start the OP's app
Afaiwa, autorun applies to drives and media, not files as such, activated at media startup.
I'm using 'autoruns' in the broad sense (anything that runs at startup), and at the same time in the very specific sense of how the Sysinternals authors of the utility of that name define it.
Even if you don't have a problem i would urge you to run it. You'll probably find there's at least one autorun on your system that's broken (e.g. the system is trying to run something that cannot be run - e.g. because, ahem, a file has been deleted, so the 'auto runner' fails)
The file is only there when I log on.  Because it is in use I cannot delete it.

So then disable autorun, log out, log in, delete the file, re-enable autorun, carry on.
I apologize, I should have done CEHJ first post.  That worked.
