Did you created a ODBC DSN first based on the Excel document? i can preview the report as well with data but in query designer it's showing this parse query text

Hi, i am pretty new to SSRS reports<br />
i have excel file with 54 spread sheets and i need to create single report by taking data from all the sheets.<br />
first i tried to create a report with single sheet<br />
select * from [shee1$]<br />
when i tried to execute in query designer it's showing unable to &nbsp;parse query '[<br />
but when i preview report i can see the result<br />
