Best data backup option
Dear experts,
Currently we are using Dell Tape library for backup the data of my company. I would like to ask which is the best technology for backup now a days. Cloud or Tape Library. (Less expensive and Easy to handle and maintain). We generate almost 5TB data per year. Can you suggest me please should I keep the existing one, or go for the cloud like Veeam?
Many Thanks in advanced.

Disk is cheap. Cloud is cheap. Both make sense. I would go with a quality cloud and local disk.
For cloud backup, make sure you can backup unlimited number of local PCs, like Idrive or Spider Oak. Here are some comparisons among cloud vendors...

Like always there is a trade off for each, Tape is still alive and kicking in many enterprise environments and sometimes is the last restore option when disk and cloud copies have been compromised by virus/ransomware.
If you go local disk and cloud make sure the cloud is only accessible by the backup and that if possible it keeps versioning so you have a chance to identify issues

We've been using Veeam and backup to disk, and then offsite to Cloud.
