Cannot choose the folder to Save As in WordPerfect
Hello experts,
I cannot control the mapping and can no longer save files to the appropriate folder.
I have successfully managed documents in WordPerfect for years. Now, without having consciously made any changes, when I attempt to save a file the "Save As" now shows "Perfect Fit Document Management".
I am using WordPerfect X3 on Windows 10.
Any ideas on what I can look at so I can choose where to save documents to different folders again?

In the wordperfect settings (extras / files) turn off enchanced filedialog. <- This is translated from a german website, so maybe different:

Thomas is correct - it's because of the differences in how Windows functioned when WPX3 was released and today

That is not correct, but I did get a correct answer that fixed the problem and will comment separately on that - to provided confirmation of the fix to others who might have this problem with Perfect Fit.

2. Click on "Files"
3. On the "Document' tab check OFF "Use enhanced file dialogs"
Isn't that what you described as the fix?

WordPerfect X3 is from 2006. It could be anything Windows OS related, because this is a very, very old piece of software. (in the computerworls standards). Maybe a reinstall of Wordperfext x3 would help? Assuming you updated windows 10 build recently.
