how can I setup the IR function of an HDMI Switch 3 to 1 4K Ultra HD box?
Hello and Good Evening Everyone,
I have an HDMI Switch 3 to 1 4K Ultra HD component which has stirred up some questions within my mind. One of which is the IR port. It is my understanding of the IR port that it is needed so the HDMI Switch 3 port amplifier selector remote control can transmit a signal needed to navigate between the HDMI channels, namely, HDMI 1, HDMI 2, and HDMI 3 respectively. That said, I wonder how the receiver interfaces with the HDMI Switch box. One of the accessories which came with the package is a black cable with one end having a connector on one end and an enclosed block on the other end. Could this be the receiver for the remote which should interface with the HDMI Switch box?
Any feedback which can be given in reply to this question will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
George
