Task Sequence fails to restart/finish to capture WIM
Hi, I'm having a really tough time getting a MDT 2013 task sequence to finish the last 2 steps -
Gather local only
Create WIM
The WIM I'm trying to create is to be my reference image. As such, I'm using a Hyper-V virtual machine as my hardware platform. Everything boots fine and the task sequence works just fine. I can see the prior steps "Apply Windows PE (BCD)" running - and the subsequent reboot. Unfortunately for me, what happens next is after the box restarts, it begins the issuance of messages related to a new user logging into Windows 10 - and ultimately loads the local administrator's desktop. I wait for the task sequence progress bar to popup - but it doesn't ever start back up. A few times I've manually run ltibootstrap.vbs to see if I can restart it. It will actually run the last two steps, but it creates a WIM in 10 seconds that is about 4MB.
I've been poring over the log files trying to find out what is causing the final steps to not run, but can't find anything that stands out to me. Can anybody help me to understand at least what is going on? Am happy to post log files on request.
