now the port is good.<br />
i can telnet 1723 both internally and from external networks. <br />

now if &nbsp;i connect the vpn from external network- it keeps saying &quot;connecting&quot;for ever, but not doing anything. not giving any error in event logs as well.<br />
am using windows authenticator and eap/mschap2 -authentication in pptp<br />
any ideas why it keeps saying connecting ?

how do I find what type of vpn is configured in it ?? whether it is pptp or l2tp or sstp ? <br />
