Server 2019 VM Licensing

Here is the situation:
I recently purchased a Dell server that had Server 2019 Standard pre-installed. Now it is my understanding that I can install Hyper-V and have 1 "free" install of Server 2019 Standard as a VM.
Is that accurate?

If so, where do I obtain the actual product key from?

Thank you!!!

Technically the license allows for 1 physical or 2 virtual servers.
So if you install Hyper V on the host you can then install 2 - 2019 vm's
Common policy on EE is that licensing info should come from the manufacturer (Microsoft), though advice is often given here.  My understanding is that Robert is correct with the qualifier that the host install should do nothing but be the host.
that information used to be correct.  microsoft has since added automatic virtual machine activation and you use the appropriate product key from the linked document

David,
As much as I was hoping it was going to be as easy as the Microsoft article stated, unfortunately it didn't work.  I used the "generic" Windows Server 2019 Standard key and it still failed activation.

Any ideas on how to fix it?
it appears that avma is only available on datacenter editions
So does that mean my only option is physically getting from the sticker?
that's correct.
Thanks all!  I appreciate your help!
