StoreFront 1903 customization.

On the Storefront (1903) desktop, is there a way to get rid of the box around the icon, get rid of the star, and disable the description altogether instead of hiding it? If I can't get rid of the box altogether, can I shrink it, along with the icon and fill the white space around the box with color and maybe a different color in the box. I can find most of this stuff using google or microsoft inspect, but to translate that to the style.css is not obvious to me. Also, when I shrink stuff, the positioning is out of whack and it is not apparent how to get it to line up straight and even. Even without shrinking things, some desktop names get shortened and even longer names show up altogether. Any help on any of this is appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. I have seen the first article before. The second, I am not sure, but I downloaded the 18xx version, but am not sure what to do from there.

I was able to do a lot with this webpage....eg put a nice fall theme on the logon page, etc etc....

But I am still having issues with the tile screen.... fex... this section...

Doesn't change the background.... I do have a Jpeg called lightgreen in the style.css folder and I did replace the background with the lightgreen name... I still have a white back ground.. and the "tiles" are also still white, so I have a white back ground with white tiles with desktop logos in them... Does anyone have an easy way to manipulate this screen to make it look more pleasant? The rest of this is pretty easy to do... Again, I have StoreFront 1903....

Another update, I have the background image figured out, but I still have the white boxes.. would still like to get rid of the star, disable instead of hide the description, and make the box wider and shorter (maybe shrink?) Also why is the name truncated on this one, where I have longer names that don't get truncated... Example is given..

I love the feature that highlights the section on the web page when you hover over the HTML in the tools pane.
