Where to buy an old model of motherboard
Hello to everyone,
the motherboard of my main PC is broken. It was an old gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3. Can some one help me to find the same model in the UE,because I live in italy,or even outside, old or new,at a decent price and with decent shipping times ? I thought to get the same model of motherboard because in that PC I have again Windows 10 installed wth all the programs, settngs, and so on and I want to transfer everything to a new PC with the tool "laplink pc mover". But to make this,I need that the old PC was still alive. Let me know. thanks.

You don't need to buy the same motherboard. Just connect the drive to another motherboard and use backup/cloning software to copy or clone the drive to another drive.
As long as the storage controller runs in a similar mode you should be able to boot the system on new hardware.
If not then use Paragon Hard Disk Manager with its P2P Adjust OS feature to automatically adjust the system to new hardware. The same tool can help you to clone the drive.

The tool I reviewed here is at the moment updated to newer one. But the approach is still pretty similar.

I'd go with something with the same chipset and then re-activate windows. It "Should" be fine.
