Hi Experts,

we have got a new email domain because of company changes.
Email is working but skype not.

The error is :
Requested federation realm object 'user@domain.de' does not exist...

Do you have an idea ?
Domain is added to O365 Portal.

I did this quite long time ago ... but did you added the new sip to all the users ?
Also some domain txt record should have been added to O365 in order for Skype to work ?

yes we have

Do we need some internal DNS settings ?
George SasIT Engineer

Commented:
No, internal DNS should be no issue , but yes, some TXT record should be added on the external DNS.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/admin/dns/create-dns-records-using-windows-based-dns?view=o365-worldwide

See the "Add a record to verify that you own the domain, if you haven't already".

I mean this part is done ?

    Gather information from Office 365.
In the admin center, go to the Setup > Domains page.
On the Domains page, in the Action column for the domain that you are verifying, select Start setup.
On the Add a domain to Office 365 page, select Start step 1.
On the Confirm that you own your domain page, in the See instructions for performing this step with drop-down list, choose General instructions.
From the table, copy the Destination or Points to Address value. You'll need it for the next step. We recommend copying and pasting this value, so that all of the spacing stays correct.
