GPO Drive maps issues with Windows 10

I have a domain running windows server 2016 and windows 10 pro workstations. I have a gpo to map the shared drives. The server is running ssd drives. Ever since i upgraded the workstations from win 7 to 10 now every once in a while when a user logs in their computer the drives dont get mapped. They will have to log out then back in and then the drives show up. I disabled the fast startup in the power settings but still happens from every once in a while. Is there a fix for this?

There is a setting in Group Policy: Always wait for network

That slows things down a bit to give the OS a chance to initialize everything before completing its polls. We do this by default.

Otherwise, it's like a person running down a grocery store aisle trying to grab everything they need on the fly then needing to go back to actually pick their necessities.
