Alex: It's an individual who sent the file to over 30 people. Since they sent us a Word document using Word 2003, I doubt i'm the only one that could not open the Excel file.

Someone sent me an xlsx file but my Windows 10 pc can't open it. Any alternatives beside asking them to send the file in a different format which is something they may not be able to do. Thanks.
