I'm setting up a veeam server, I have a DL380 Gen10 with 2x 10GB Nics. when setting up the networking side, do I configure a 1gb management  nic with a static IP and set the 2 x 10GB Nics to dhcp? what's the best way to configure.

thanks

I would just use your pair of 10Gbe nics configured as Etherchannel bond on the physical switch and then just allocate a static IP address to the team

This will give you Failover resilience and throughput

If this is for backups
I can always rely on you Andrew, yes this is for backups.

OK so remove the 1GB Nic, setup the 2 x 10Gbe nics teamed nic?

yes don’t bother with the 1Gbe it will just confuse networking and IP
excellent, speedy response as always. Thank you
