S2D adding new performance drives

Hi, i have a 3 server S2D setup that i want to add new SSDs to.

Currently i have a storage pool with 10 HDDs and 2 400GB SSDs on each server. I have 1 volume using 50% capacity of both.

I want to add 3 new SSDs into each server that are 1.6TB each and create a new volume that uses 33% of HDD and new SSD storage.   Once i have then migrated the data off the existing volume i will delete it and create 2 more using roughly 33% each.

Is it possible to do this? Any help is appreciated!

Are the SSDs set up as cache devices?

No I have nvme cache drives.  A 2 column performance tier (the ones I want to replace) and a capacity tier
It's best to leave S2D manage column counts when creating the Virtual Disk.

Are you able to add in the new storage without disturbing the current storage layout?

EDIT: https://storagespacesdirect.slack.com <-- I suggest joining.
I have an old SOFS that i am going to use to temporarily host the data over the weekend and i will delete and rebuild the storage pool with the new SSDs.

I normally let S2D manage the column count. If i had 3x servers with 30 HDDs each should i expect to see S2D deploy 10 or 30 columns? i Would normally think it should be 30, but does it require 3x 10 columns on each server to replicate the data from the other 2 CSVs if i have 1 CSV per server?
