Seems a bit old that server. Could be your mobile app wants a more secure connection (SMBv2 or even v3), and I suspect the old server only knows about SMBv1.

Opensuse 11.3 is the OS of my server.I suppose that I have to check Samba version?
Check the samba version AND CONFIGURATION on the server, yes.
Hello, I have checked Samba version (3.5.4),SMB2 is not fully supported. Is there any other proper way to connect a mobile application to a share d folder located in the Opensuse 13.2 (Linux)?I want to connect my mobile application to access a shared folder located at (e.g Z:\FOLDER1),where z is a mapped drive in a windows client,
Can you suggest other way?I am trying with using FTP and SFTP and I am getting the following messagesUser generated imageUser generated image
You have to configure your FTP server first. It probably didn't support the FTPS solution. Try NORMAL FTP (port 21).
Or you have to configure your SSH server (and select SFTP on port 22 on your Android solution)
