KVM and monitor issue
I have a KVM connected to my primary computer and secondary computer. Monitors 1 & 2 are connected to my primary computer and monitor 3 is connected to the KVM over HDMI. The problem I am having is that when I switch back to my primary computer whatever I had on monitor 3 prior to switching to my secondary computer is kicked over to monitor 1. I then have to move it back over to monitor 3. I know that when I switch to the secondary computer my primary computer loses connections to monitor 3 and this is causing the problem.
Is there a way configure the primary computer to drop the connection to monitor 3 when switching the KVM?

The primary computer is behaving exactly as designed. To prevent you having a program open on a screen you can no longer see.
There may be a third-party solution available such as Display Fusion which allows much more control than vanilla windoze
