Backloading emails into gmail
Is there a way to backload all historical emails from outlooks etc or even another email provider, into an existing gmail account so that time and date stamps remain?
Example
My gmail accounts starts from 1 January 2010. I want to back load all my emails from 2000 into its so I can use my mail as an archive.

You'll setup to access your new account to use IMAP.
Then use one of these methods. #1 syncs mail, so mail will still exist both places. #2 destroys email in old location.
1) Then use a tool like https://github.com/imapsyn
2) You can also just setup 2x IMAP accounts in one client, like Thunderbird, then slowly drag & drop mail from your old account to the new account.
Tip: Try doing this via a few 100s-1000s at a time. If either IMAP account connection drops during this process, you can have a mess on your hands.
If you have many email (like you mentioned of 10 years worth of mail), using imapsync will ensure the sync goes well.
