"This PC" pops up repeatedly in Windows 10 Pro

"This PC" pops up repeatedly in Windows 10 Pro.  It randomly happens several times per day, and then when she comes in in the morning it is on the taskbar 40 or 50 times.   She thinks a Win10 auto update happened right around the time that this started a few days ago, but is not sure.  Any ideas on what I can check or do?  TIA

Can you get a screenshot of the afflicted system showing the pop-up, and post it here as an image?

Download a copy of Microsoft Autoruns, look at the startup programs, and see what is running at startup time.  There will probably be some things which can (and should) be removed.  On a normal system there should not be many things auto-starting -- I shoot for less than eight.  If you're not sure about what to disable, take a screenshot and let us have a look at it.
