Print to File from software set Print to File as default
This works fine with a CLT+P and I can paste in the file path.
I need to set Print to File as a default printer to capture a text version of the report.
Machine:
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Edition, 32-bit Service Pack 1 (build 7601)
All patches current.
Logged in as Administrator
Background:
1. Remote accessing a customer’s computer.
2. Business does print to a Thermal Receipt printer (Pizza Shop)
3. I need to see a report - for obvious reasons - I need to print to a .txt file.
Problem:
Followed these instructions.
How to Print to File without user intervention
Yes, I noticed this - Applies to: Windows Server 2008 R2 EnterpriseWindows Server 2008 R2 Standard
Have ZERO’d out UAC.
When I’m attempting above instructions “C:\Users\pos\Desktop\prin tjob” gives me an “Can not Access Error” or something to that effect.
Any help?
Best,
Vincent.
