How Does SCCM match correct drivers with correct computers
How Does SCCM match correct drivers with correct computers
For instance if there are many drivers imported to SCCM for different manufacturers and models DELL, HP,LENOVO , and each has different models of the drivers.
when the target computer (for instance Dell Optplexe 7010) boots up (for instance off the USB drive) , how does it get the correct drivers ?
Thank you

What are we talking about here? SCCM is a massive product and can be interfacing with drivers via several (unrelated) modules.
by using plug and play is ONE way which matches the pci\vend\ id's from what is needed and what is available.
Another way is to use the bios system information i.e. acer 6300 and the drivers in the acer\6300 drivers folder.
