f.lux doesn't work with my new monitor

I have been using f.lux now for a few years and it's been working fine.  I just got a new monitor, a 32" LG 4K computer moniotr and since then, f.lux as stopped working.
Here's the website: https://justgetflux.com

1. I have installed the drivers for the monitor
2. I have uninstalled and reinstalled f.lux at least 3 different times and restarted since then

Any suggestions what else I can do to get it to work, maybe f.lux just doesn't support 4K?

if you are not using the latest version of windows, update now! also, disable "Night Light" feature and restart, f.lux should take control.

by mentioning "Night Light", its a build-in feature for the same matter, to make the screen colours comfortable with the eye in the night. give it a try to see if it satisfies your needs.
some people mention that in windows 10 v1903, f.lux don't work dues to fast startup feature. disable it
Here is what we know:

If you shutdown/startup (with fast startup enabled) Windows color will fail - color profiles will not load, and f.lux will use its "fallback mode"
A simple reboot makes things work again
Starting up with "fast startup" disabled works also
If you shutdown and restart your computer and don't want to do the extra reboot, you can disable Fast Startup using these steps:

Go to Power and Sleep settings
Choose "Additional power settings" to get to the old Power Options control panel
From the Power Options control panel, choose "Change what the power button does"
You should now be in "Power Options > System settings"
Click "Change settings that are currently unavailable"
Uncheck "Turn on fast startup"
Restart

I have rebooted numerous times, so that probably didn't help, but I will look at turning off night light.

I just checked, night light is off and I'm on the newest version of windows.
Like I said it was working fine with my old monitor, switched monitors and stopped working.

Will do that when I get home, I don't have them handy now.

My old monitor is a LG Flatron EW234T monitor.

My new monitor is a LG  32UK50T monitor.
can you test the software  and monitor on another pc?
does the soft still work if you reconnect the old monitor?

if I connect my old monitor, I believe the software still works, but I don't know for sure as I uninstalled it, I will need to install it again.
maybe a good test...try it

the craziest thing, so when I plugged in my old monitor with my new, so both were connected, f.lux worked fine on both monitors.
After I unplugged my old monitor, my 23" old DVI monitor, my 32" new monitor just changed the color to full brightness, so all by itself, f.lux stopped working.  That's explainable.

I exited the app and tried again, brought it back up and nothing, doesn't work.

I also tried the windows built in night light, and that doesn't do anything either.

The only app I found that works is iris.  That actually works.

So this is strange, i started the flux app again and changing it to a different profile, it seems to barley change the display, and it makes everything black/white.  Something is whacked.
when you replugged the old one -  and flux workd - did you check the resolution and other settings?
time to do so

the resolution on my old monitor was 1080p and my new monitor, it was 4K, and with the old monitor plugged in, both monitors worked with flux. as soon as unplugged the old monitor, flux stopped working with the new monitor as well.
does it work with the new monitor if you set it at 1080p ?

I have not tried that, I will test that tonight.

I tried even with 1080p resolution, and still doesn't work.  Not sure why.
I have to give up and just use my iris app, unless someone can figure out why it's not working with this monitor?
