Can't get domain GPO for screensaver to work on clients
Environment: Server 2012 r2, 1 Windows 10 domain client and 1 Windows 7 domain client

Problem: Trying to set up domain wide GPO for screen saver policy. Nothing works.

I have tried
1) create new GPO, edit it, expand to user configuration, Policies, Administrative Templates, Control Panel, Personalization
Enable Screen saver timeout for 60 seconds
Enable Force specific screen saver and point to shared UNC \\itrdc\sharedscreens\12345.jpg
Enable Password protect the screen saver
reboot both server and clients
Server seems to have shorter timeout but not the client and my screensaver is not used.
ย
2) Then I undid the above and tried this:
Computer Configuration, policies, Windows Settings Security Settings, Local Policies, security options
Enabled Interactive logon: machine inactivity limit for 60 seconds. I don't see a way to specify the screen saver.
Rebooted both server and client. No change in clients.

I am more interested in getting this to run for Windows 10 clients and server.

Any ideas are appreciated.

You might have another policy impacting user.
Use gpmc results wizard against one client/computer.

To Which OU us this GPO linked?
Make sure the GPO applies to the user.

It is not linked to any specific OU
The one with several entries to edit applies to the user. Attached it the GP results file

The results you posted the screensaver GPO did not apply. for reason, inaccessible, empty or disabled.

David, while your answer was not applicable, you caused me to look further. There was another setting Enable ย screen saver that was not enabled. I enabled it and things started to work. Also, you can't use jpg's. The files that run the screen saver must be scr files.
That also held me back.
Thanks for pointing me in the correct direction.
