U-verse WIFI Extender on AT&T Internet 100 still intermittently drops U-verse, WIFI which is resolved  by rebooting everything. Bizarre, less than 2500 sq ft so the Att Smart Extender shouldn’t even be needed yet we installed it to test. Syncd ok and improved some. Have a second other extender; different mfg type. Any downside to using 2 to test?  All HW devices from ATT have been either replaced or upgraded. The intermittent dropping of signals at somewhat repeating times of night kind of nuts!

insights appreciated.

I found by changing the channel used by my router, things improved dramatically.  Find a channel that doesn't have many devices and try it.

I forget which tool I used to scan wifi signals but pretty sure I used one from here:

Going from memory I think it was WifiInfoView.

best channel in use, have tools

wonder if Samsung Smart TV could be a roadblock
I'm far from a networking and wifi Expert.  I cannot say what might be causing your signals to drop.  I just had similar issues and in my troubleshooting, discovered I was on a busy channel.  Once I changed, signal strength improved and I stopped dropping connections.

ATT Smart Home Manager used to reboot both Router and Extender when U-verse Signal is lost and the tool to analyze Network and devices.  it scans for strongest WiFi signal.
