Print spooler keeps crashing.
I am having trouble getting the print functions on a machine to work. The print spooler keeps crashing. I have stopped the print spooler removed all of the network printers. Deleted everything in the system32 PRINTER and DRIVER folders, and restarted the machine. After the restart I am able to add a network printer before it crashes again and i cant add any more and I cant make any changes to the one I added. It will not print anything after adding it again. I'm still hoping that a windows version update will help with the problem.
Windows 10? The last couple of versions including 1903 with the latest update?
If yes, then uninstall the latest cumulative update. It kills the print subsystem.

Its not specific to any one network printer. It starts and stops every few seconds even if there is no activity. I'm updating the windows version so i cant get any event logs till the computer comes back on.

Do you see JScript.DLL in the previous crashes in the Event Logs?
Does this happen specifically when you try to add(or try to install) a specific printer or even if you dont make any changes to the printing subsystem the service will crash?
