What is the solution to resolving the 0xC004F050 Windows activation code? Last week I was trying to upgrade a windows 10 home computer to Pro and it would not take either of the Pro codes that I tried. Even after a google search I was unable to find a solution to resolve it.

Try the telephone activation process instead.  Microsoft, when it comes down to it, are the only people who can solve an activation problem or tell you if your license codes are legitimate.

I had exactly the same issue.  Search for a Windows 10 Upgrade Key to use as an intermediary.  Once 10 Pro is installed, use your Pro keys to activate.

I worked for a company that had purchased 5 HP notebooks that were SUPPOSED to come with Windows 10 Pro, but came with 10 Home, and we were provided with the Windows 10 keys.  While I had no trouble wiping the drives and reinstalling Windows 10, the final install result was still always Windows 10 Home because of the digital license already applied, and I couldn't get the Pro keys to work.  Using the intermediary key I was able to 'upgrade' to Windows 10 Pro and activate with the keys that had been provided with the systems.

It was a strange one.
