Looking for help getting my Sonicwall logs files to upload the the Microsoft Azure Cloud App Security system. I am trying to setup the Sonicwall's so they forward their logs to MS to be analyze. I need to have a forwarding machine installed to do this. They have a Docking image of Linus, but I can't seem to get it to work. My working knowledge Linux is pretty limited. I have been using this article as a reference: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/cloudready/2018/03/07/configure-microsoft-cloud-app-security-to-analyze-sonicwall-logs/. Thanks
it would be useful if you showed exactly what you have done, copying and pasting from the SSH terminal to your Linux host is usually the simplest method.

Not sure there is anything to show. It is just Linux console (I think). There is some content on startup but just house keeping stuff. I guess this is the root of my problem. I have no idea where to go at this point.
As it is not possible to tell what you have done, and presuming that your Linux host is a VM, I would suggest recreating it from scratch.
I would suggest using Ubuntu Server (not desktop) and initially only install SSH, and then do all of the work from a SSH session (I would suggest using PuTTY).
I would suggest documenting in a text file exactly which commands you run in the SSH session, and if you encounter any errors, put those into the file.
