Dynamics 365 Slow

We have a client that has migrated to Dynamics 365. We are having issues that sometimes users experience the system to be slow. How can I pull API reports for specific users? I see the general Common Data Service Analytics report and we only did 410 000 API calls and 61 011 Executions over the last 24 hours.  Any ideas on how I can troubleshoot this?

Hi,

If you're using an online instance, check below-

There are a lot of factors that can contribute to CRM performance issues. Sometimes it’s hard to know where to begin troubleshooting.

* Maybe your issues are caused by a network latency issue, an SQL issue, or a possible server resource issue. CRM has built-in performance tools to assist you with this. Check your latency and bandwidth at https://CRMUrl/tools/diagnostics/diag.aspx (make sure to replace CRMUrl with the actual CRM URL). As a general guideline, performance will start to degrade when latency > 150 ms and/or bandwidth < 50 KB/s.

* This also depends on which browser you're using... I do not recommend IE11. You can use edge/chrome/firefox.

* Also it depends on the region you're working. Suppose your CRM server is US and you access CRM somewhere in Europe !?!

* Try to follow these steps- https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/enterprise/view-service-health?redirectSourcePath=%252fen-us%252farticle%252fhow-to-check-office-365-service-health-932ad3ad-533c-418a-b938-6e44e8bc33b0

* Try to check with Fiddler to identify how many requests are being processed and look for multiple instances where the responses are identical.

* Try to check CRM Form Performance Utility. Go to any entity form. Press Ctrl + Shift + Q. Click on Enable. Reload the form and press Ctrl + Shift + Q. Check performance there.

* Check if your instance is having tracing on.

Rest can be checked if you're using multiple plugins/custom code and that needs any code/process enhancements.
